Workers Compensation

An employee who is injured in the workplace during the course of work is entitled to certain benefits, which can include medical treatment, disability, rehabilitation and continuing wages. Pursuant to workers’ compensation laws, employers are required to adopt certain standard safety measures and to obtain workers’ compensation insurance coverage for their employees. In order for an injured worker to receive these benefits, however, he or she must follow certain technical requirements.
